The CEO of tech firm Astronomer, Andy Byron, is under fire after being caught in a compromising situation with a senior HR executive during a Coldplay concert in Boston.
The incident, which was recorded by concertgoers and has since gone viral, has sparked public backlash and raised questions about leadership ethics and workplace conduct.
In a statement released on Monday, Byron apologized to his family, employees, and stakeholders, calling the moment a personal failure.
“This is not who I want or how I want to represent the company I helped build,” he said. “I’m taking time to reflect, to take responsibility, and to figure out the next steps, personally and professionally. I ask for privacy as I navigate that process.”
The HR executive involved, Kristen Cabot, has not spoken, and neither has Astronomer issued a corporate statement.
However, sources close to the matter say the company’s board is in discussions over how to proceed amid mounting scrutiny.
