The PUNCH reported that this was announced in a statement by Chery Automobile’s official national partner in Nigeria, Carloha.

The Chinese automaker reported that around 937,148 automobiles were exported, indicating a 101.1 per cent rise over the previous year.

The company highlighted that its success outpaced the industry’s growth rate, establishing it as a key participant in the worldwide automotive sector.

“This announcement not only celebrates Chery’s success story but also acts as an inspirational call to greatness, echoing through the continued growth of the Chery brand in the Nigerian automotive market.”

According to Chery, holding China’s number one passenger car exporter position for 21 consecutive years in 2023 underlined the company’s status as an industry leader deeply committed to supplying high-quality automotive goods that meet the expectations of customers.

The automaker stated that it excelled by ranking first in the automotive index category of the “Top 50 Chinese Global Brand Builders’ Report” and topping J.D. Power’s IQS (Initial Quality Study) among China’s domestic brands.

Chery claimed to have established a new record for collision testing with 532 vehicles, giving the Tiggo 7 Pro a five-star rating from the Australian A-NCAP.

Several Chery vehicle series, including Tiggo 8, Tiggo 7, and Tiggo 4, earned first place in their categories, demonstrating Chery’s dedication to exceeding expectations, the company said.

The carmaker stated that it is committed to ecologically friendly automotive solutions, including producing eco-friendly automobiles and applying sustainable manufacturing procedures.
