The Central Bank of Nigeria Governor, Godwin Emefiele, on Thursday visited the President, Major General Muhammadu Buhari (retd.), at the State House, Abuja.
The visit is considered the second of the governor of Nigeria’s apex financial institution since he returned to Nigeria following on January 12, 2022.
The embattled CBN head was a member of a delegation from the Arab Bank for Economic Development earlier on Thursday, which was led by Dr. Sidi Ould Tah, director general.
It would be recalled that Emefiele had left the nation following an inquiry into various claims against him,by the department of state service, including corruption and terrorism financing.
