Nigerian Justice Roli Harriman has been chosen as the next head of the CAF Appeals Board on the sidelines of the Confederation of African Football’s Ordinary General Assembly in Abidjan, Cote d’Ivoire.
Harriman, a 62-year-old High Court judge who has served as an Alternative Dispute Resolution judge in Delta State since January 2013, has replaced fellow countryman A. U. Mustapha (SAN) as the chairman of the CAF’s supreme judicial body.
Harriman formerly served as a senior lecturer at the Nigerian Law School.
She was chosen to serve as the Appeals Board’s Vice President alongside Fernando Valera Monteiro of Cape Verde.
Ousmane Kane of Senegal was also chosen to lead the CAF Disciplinary Board, and Jane Njeri Onyango of Kenya will serve as vice president.
