BUA Cement has revealed that it is constructing factories in Sokoto and Okpella to increase domestic production.

According to The Punch, this information was provided on Thursday in Abuja by the managing director of BUA Cement, Yusuf Binji, who was in attendance with Chief Financial Officer, Jacques Piekarski.

Binji stated that the company would increase its daily production capacity by an extra six million tonnes when the two new manufacturing lines begin operating in the first quarter of 2024.

“We are currently constructing two facilities in Sokoto and Okpella, which will add six million tonnes to our overall production capacity by the start of next year, bringing it to 17 million tonnes per day. This is due to thanks to you customers, for without you, there will be no expansion,” he said.

Additionally, BUA Cement introduced its #WinWithTheKing promo as part of attempts to boost sales and recognise brand devotion.

He said that the #WinWithTheKing promo was a first for BUA since the company was founded.

Users of BUA Cement would have the chance to win company-branded T-shirts, rechargeable lamps, TV sets, generator sets, tricycles for carrying cement, and Android phones throughout the 83-day promotion.

According to Binji, the promotion was a method to demonstrate to its clients that they were significant contributors to the enormous strides the business was making.

He declared, “With this promotion, we hope to reward our devoted customers, kick-off sales, and increase brand recognition.

“It takes a lot of courage for us to interact with our customers and distributors; they are crucial to us, and we take their needs seriously, working hard to meet their needs and provide them with support.

“We also need to make sure that our customers will stick with us and we need to reward them for that. Additionally, we need to use this to maintain our sales and keep expanding our brand.”
