BUA Cement Plc has announced a new payment date for its final dividend of ₦2.05 per 50 kobo ordinary share.

The dividend will now be paid on July 21, 2025, replacing the previously scheduled date announced on February 28, 2025.

According to the group, the dividend—originally scheduled for distribution to registered shareholders on August 28, 2025—will now be paid electronically and directly into shareholders’ bank accounts on July 21, 2025.

The company also announced a revision to the closure period of its register of shareholders, shifting it from the previously scheduled dates of August 11 to 15, 2025, to a new window from July 4 to 8, 2025.

BUA Cement emphasized that the final dividend remains subject to withholding tax and regulatory approval.

The company further noted that completion of e-dividend registration is a mandatory requirement for shareholders to receive the payment.

BUA Cement’s final dividend of ₦2.05 per share translates to a total payout of ₦69.42 billion. Based on a share price of ₦83.70, this implies a dividend yield of 2.45%.

The dividend also represents a final dividend payout ratio of 93.93%, reflecting the company’s strong commitment to shareholder returns.
