Residents of Utako and sections of Wuye in Abuja are currently experiencing a power outage due to a technical fault on a feeder serving the areas, the Abuja Electricity Distribution Company has reported.

In a public notice on Monday, AEDC notified customers that the electricity outage in Utako and parts of Wuye was due to a fault on the feeder supplying power to the areas.

The distribution company stated that its technical team has been deployed and is working diligently to restore power, though no specific timeline for the restoration was provided.

“We regret to inform you that the current power outage is due to a technical fault affecting the feeder serving your area,” AEDC said in the notice.

The company apologised to affected customers for the inconvenience and urged them to remain patient and understanding as repair efforts continue.
