Arik Air will restart service to the capital cities of Asaba, Ilorin Kwara, and Delta states respectively on December 20, 2022.
According to a press statement from Arik Air spokesman Banji Ola, flights to Ilorin would operate four times weekly from the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport in Abuja and flights to Asaba will do the same from the General Aviation Terminal at Murtala Muhammed Airport in Lagos.
Flights from Abuja to Ilorin and from Lagos to Asaba have resumed to allow travellers to spend the Christmas season with their loved ones.
Arik Air’s CEO, Captain Roy Ilegbodu, provided the following commentary on the restarted flights, “We have listened to our customers in Ilorin and Asaba who have been craving for our services. They trust us to deliver exceptional services and we won’t fail them.”
