Aluminium Extrusion Industries Plc has announced the appointment of Chief Dr Jinesh Chandra Dugad and Mr Rakesh Shah to the company’s board of directors as non-executive directors.
The Times reported that it was able to secure a copy of the company’s statement of Changes to the Board of Directors to the Nigerian Exchange Limited.
According to the statement, the Company’s Secretary, Chief Dr. Jinesh Chandra Dugad was appointed as a Non-Executive Director on September 20, 2023, according to a statement made by DCSL Corporate Services Limited,
The company’s next annual general meeting will decide whether to approve his nomination.
Dr. Dugad received his B.E. (Hons.) in Electrical Engineering and his PhD at the University of Aruba in the Netherlands.
Managing Director of Aluminium Extrusion Industries Plc, Group Managing Director of MIDGAL Group, and Tower Aluminium Group, to name a few, are among the important positions he has held in management.
He presently serves as an advisor to the African Industries Group and is a fellow of the Indian Institute of Engineers, the Nigerian Society of Engineers, and the Indian Institute of Standard Engineers.
On September 20, 2023, Mr. Rakesh Shah was appointed as a Non-Executive Director, according to the release.
Additionally, his nomination will be approved at the company’s upcoming annual general meeting.
Mr. Rakesh Shah has a B.Sc. (Hons) in Commerce from Nagpur University in India and has earned his chartered accountant designation from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.
Among the notable positions he has held in management are those of Managing Director of Tower Alloys Industries Limited and Vice President, Corporate Development of Provident Management SFO DMCC, Dubai.
Mr. Shah has a wealth of experience in project management, investment and financial management, and mergers and acquisitions.
