Air Peace Limited has announced the resumption of daily return flights between Ibadan and Abuja, effective December 24, 2025, as part of efforts to strengthen domestic connectivity and enhance passenger convenience.
The resumption follows the reopening of Ibadan Airport, which was previously closed to commercial flight operations.
With flight activities now restored at the airport, the airline said it is responding swiftly to strong demand from passengers, particularly travellers in Oyo State and neighbouring areas seeking seamless access to the nation’s capital.
Air Peace confirmed that fares on the Ibadan–Abuja route will begin from ₦95,000, providing customers with an affordable travel option during the high-traffic festive season and beyond.
The airline noted that the development is part of its recently announced resumption of operations in Warri, alongside the introduction of additional flight frequencies across its domestic network.
According to the airline, these adjustments were strategically introduced to accommodate increased passenger traffic during the yuletide period while sustaining capacity growth into 2026.
Air Peace said the expansion reflects its proactive approach to meeting peak-season travel demand without compromising operational efficiency.
The resumed Ibadan service is also supported by the airline’s expanding fleet, following the recent delivery of its third Embraer 190 aircraft.
The airline stated that the additional aircraft enhances schedule reliability, route flexibility and overall service delivery across its domestic operations.
Speaking on the resumption, Air Peace reaffirmed its commitment to connecting underserved markets, easing travel stress for passengers and supporting socio-economic activities through reliable air transport services.
Passengers were advised to book early through the Air Peace website, mobile application or accredited travel agents to take advantage of the attractive fares.
