Nigeria’s leading airline, Air Peace, has announced the commencement of ticket sales for its anticipated Abuja–London flights, with fares starting at N1 million.
According to a statement by the airline’s spokesperson, Efe Osifo-Whiskey, the direct flights from Abuja to both London Heathrow and Gatwick airports will begin on October 26, 2025.
Air Peace becomes the first Nigerian carrier to operate direct flights from Abuja to both of London’s major international gateways, reinforcing its growing influence in regional and international aviation.
The airline revealed that passengers from any of its domestic network across Nigeria can now book a seamless connecting ticket through Abuja to either Heathrow or Gatwick. This eliminates the hassle of multiple bookings or re-checking luggage.
Similarly, inbound passengers from London can fly into Abuja and connect to destinations such as Lagos, Port Harcourt, Enugu, Benin, Warri, Owerri, Kano, Yola, Gombe, and Asaba—all on a single ticket. More destinations will be added in due course.
Air Peace said the expanded service would offer passengers enhanced flexibility, convenience, and value—especially with the option of choosing between multiple cities in Nigeria and the UK for both departure and arrival.
“With a proven track record of challenging the status quo and pioneering transformative routes in African aviation, Air Peace continues to raise the bar with the announcement of the Abuja–London service.
“This latest offer, round-trip fares starting from just N1 million and unmatched domestic connectivity is yet another bold step in democratising international air travel for Nigerians,” the statement said.
