Artificial intelligence startup Anthropic has raised $13 billion in fresh capital, valuing the company at $183 billion.

This was announced by the firm on Tuesday.

The funding round was led by ICONIQ, with participation from Fidelity Management & Research, Lightspeed Venture Partners, the Qatar Investment Authority, Blackstone, and Coatue.

Amazon-backed Anthropic has seen rapid revenue growth, with its annualized run rate climbing from about $1 billion at the start of 2025 to more than $5 billion by August, according to a company blog post.

The deal underscores continued investor appetite for AI companies despite broader questions around technology spending.
