The President of African Development Bank, Dr. Akinwumi Adesina, has lost his mother, Eunice Adesina.
The Guardian reported that the matriarch of the Adesina family died on Thursday, December.
An associate of Adesina and media practitioner, Victor Oladokun, confirmed the development, in a Facebook post on Thursday.
He wrote, “With great sadness, but with gratitude to God for a beautiful life well lived, my deepest condolences go out to my friend and brother, #AkinwumiAdesina; his dear wife, Grace; his brother, Leke; and the Adesina family at the passing of the family’s matriarch, Mrs. Eunice Adesina – a loving mother to so many.
“Rest in peace eternal and in the presence of your Heavenly Father.”
