The Premier League has confirmed that Manchester City were found guilty of all charges relating to breaches of the competition’s financial rules between the 2009-10 and 2017-18 seasons.

An independent Commission found that the club had arranged “sham contracts” with several of its commercial partners during the period under investigation.

According to the Premier League, City also relied on “sham agreements” to artificially inflate the club’s revenues and reduce its costs.

The Commission further found the club guilty of the majority of charges relating to its failure to cooperate with the Premier League’s investigation.

However, the Premier League did not disclose the exact number of non-cooperation charges that were upheld against Manchester City.
