Apple has raised the price of its Apple TV streaming service to $14.99 per month, up from $12.99, while the annual subscription has increased to $119 from $99.

Apple TV is also included in Apple One, the company’s bundled subscription service that offers access to Apple Music, iCloud storage and other services.

The price of the individual Apple One plan has also increased, rising to $21.95 per month from $19.95.

Apple has added a significant amount of content to its streaming platform since the previous price increase, including F1, a major summer blockbuster, and Ted Lasso, the comedy series that returned for a fourth season earlier this month.

The latest price increases follow Apple’s decision to raise the monthly price of Apple Music by $1 in July, citing higher licensing costs.

Apple reported $30.7 billion in services revenue in its third quarter, representing 12 per cent year-over-year growth.

However, the segment’s gross margin declined by more than 1 per cent sequentially, which the company attributed to a different product mix and foreign exchange headwinds.
