Nigeria’s headline inflation rate declined to 15.43 per cent in July 2026, down 0.48 percentage points from 15.91 per cent recorded in June.
According to the Consumer Price Index report, the July figure also represents a significant decline from the 24.94 per cent headline inflation rate recorded in July 2025.
Despite the decline in the inflation rate, the CPI rose to 145.3 points in July 2026, up from 143.0 points in June, representing a 2.3-point increase during the month.
