Meta has expanded its artificial intelligence offerings with the launch of Pocket, a new app that enables users to create small interactive applications and games using simple AI text prompts.

The app, which emerged from Meta’s acquisition of the team behind the vibe-coded gaming platform Gizmo earlier this year, is designed to make game and app creation more accessible without requiring coding expertise.
Pocket describes itself as “a creative platform for making and sharing gizmos”—the name given to the interactive experiences built on the platform.

In addition to generating new experiences with AI, the app features a scrollable social feed where users can discover and interact with gizmos created by others.

Pocket is the latest addition to Meta’s growing portfolio of AI-powered creative tools as the company seeks to make AI content creation more accessible to mainstream users.

It builds on earlier initiatives, including AI image generation through the Meta AI app and AI video creation with its Vibes app.

Meta has also integrated AI capabilities across its social media platforms and into Edits, its video-editing app designed for content creators.
