Google unveils cinematic video overviews turning notes into videos

Google has rolled out a new feature, ‘Cinematic Video Overviews’, in the latest NotebookLM Studio update, enabling users to turn their research and notes into short, easy-to-understand videos.

This addition makes it simpler to grasp complex information through visual storytelling.

This was disclosed by the tech giant through NotebookLM’s official social media, noting
Cinematic Video Overviews is a step beyond traditional text summaries.

The feature transforms users’ research into engaging video presentations, combining visuals, narration, and organized storytelling for a more immersive way to understand information.

According to Google, the aim is to move past basic templates.

Cinematic Video Overviews create tailored videos from a user’s research, ensuring each presentation reflects the specific content of their sources.

This allows students, researchers, and professionals to engage with key information more visually and interactively.

The feature is available in NotebookLM Studio alongside tools like audio overviews, reports, slide decks, mind maps, and flashcards.

Together, these tools help users convert raw research into various formats, making it easier to study or present information in the way that suits them best.
