inDrive, a global mobility and urban services platform operating in 48 countries, has been named the world’s second most-downloaded ride-hailing app for the fourth straight year, according to data from market intelligence firm Sensor Tower.
The report also ranked inDrive fourth worldwide in travel app downloads, up from fifth position in 2023, highlighting rising user engagement as the company broadens its offerings and advances its super app strategy.
Since its launch, the app — known for its peer-to-peer pricing system that allows drivers and riders to negotiate fares — has surpassed 400 million downloads.
It is currently available in 1,065 cities globally and has facilitated more than 8 billion transactions.
The platform secured the top spot in the travel category by downloads in nine countries, including new markets such as Peru and Pakistan, and ranked among the three most-downloaded travel apps in 22 countries.
In 2025, inDrive stepped up its expansion beyond ride-hailing, rolling out services including intercity travel, courier and grocery delivery, and financial products. The diversification, designed to address a broader range of users’ daily needs, has boosted engagement and strengthened the platform’s sustained global growth.
Technology — including AI and advanced analytics — underpins this evolution by enabling more personalised and seamless user experiences.
From machine learning tools that close mapping gaps and improve ETA accuracy to predictive analytics that anticipate user needs, these capabilities are central to the platform’s growth. At the same time, the company preserves user control over pricing, in line with its emphasis on fairness through choice.
The Sensor Tower report highlights the rising role of super app ecosystems in driving ride-hailing growth, particularly in emerging markets where users increasingly depend on single platforms for multiple services.
