QuickAir Networks Limited has announced a corporate restructuring and the relaunch of its domestic Global Distribution System for Nigerian travel agents.
As part of the restructuring, the company has appointed a new leadership team, with Engr. Suleiman Ibrahim as chairman, Dr. Segun Oyebolu as deputy chairman and chief executive officer, and Muyiwa Amoo as executive director, Finance and Administration.
The upgraded GDS platform gives travel agents real-time access to domestic flight inventory, competitive pricing, and booking capabilities across major Nigerian airlines.
It features instant confirmation, real-time seat availability, multi-airline fare comparison, and integrated payment solutions. The system is designed to process high transaction volumes, handling up to 10,000 concurrent users.
According to the company, the relaunch addresses challenges in the local travel industry, including fragmented booking systems and limited access to comprehensive flight data.
The chairman, Engr. Suleiman Ibrahim, assured existing customers that wallet balances affected by the operation suspension in December 2022 would be restored, and reconciliation would be completed within 30 days.
The CEO, Dr. Segun Oyebolu, said the new platform is expected to cut booking time by up to 70% while improving customer experience.
Executive Director, Finance and Administration, Muyiwa Amoo, added that the company projects the system will facilitate over ₦50 billion in domestic flight bookings within its first year.
QuickAir plans to onboard more than 5,000 travel agents nationwide in the next six months. To support the platform’s adoption, free training sessions will be held in Lagos, Abuja, and Port Harcourt. The platform is already live for registered travel agents across the country.
