Lamborghini posts nearly 30% revenue in Q1 on hybrid model demand

Italian luxury sports carmaker Lamborghini has reported a strong start to 2025, with revenue rising 29.6% year-on-year to €895.2 million in the first quarter, driven by global demand for its new hybrid models—the Revuelto and the Urus SE.

The brand, a subsidiary of Germany’s Volkswagen Group, also saw a significant increase in operating profit (EBIT), which climbed 32.8% to €248.1 million, despite ongoing global economic challenges.

Lamborghini delivered a total of 2,967 vehicles between January and March. The Americas led the growth with a 21% year-on-year increase in deliveries. The EMEA (Europe, Middle East, and Africa) region saw a 7% rise to 1,368 units, while deliveries in the Asia-Pacific region (APAC) increased by 14% to 565 units.

CEO Stephan Winkelmann said the figures underscore Lamborghini’s resilience and brand strength. “The first-quarter results highlight the robustness of our brand in the face of global uncertainty,” he said.

CFO Paolo Poma echoed the positive outlook, stating, “2025 opened with a solid performance, confirming the continuity of a path of sustainable financial growth. Our commitment remains focused on creating lasting value for our stakeholders, maintaining our long-term vision based on economic solidity and environmental responsibility.”

The results further cement Lamborghini’s position in the high-performance automotive sector, as the company continues its transition toward electrification with a focus on profitability and sustainability.
