Nigeria’s largest airline, Air Peace, has introduced a new boarding procedure aimed at improving travel efficiency, reducing congestion, and enhancing overall passenger satisfaction.

The new policy, announced in a statement signed by Dr. Ejike Ndiulo, Head of Corporate Communications, will prioritise military personnel, passengers with special needs, and business class travelers during the boarding process.

“This initiative reflects our commitment to professionalism, inclusivity, and service excellence,” the airline said.

Air Peace Chairman and CEO, Allen Onyema, described the policy as a deliberate effort to streamline operations and improve comfort for all passengers.

“At Air Peace, we understand that time and comfort matter deeply to our passengers. This new boarding policy is designed to reduce congestion, enhance orderliness, and ensure that our customers enjoy a smoother start to their journeys,” Onyema said.

He added that the updated procedure also demonstrates the airline’s values of respect and care, particularly by honouring military service members and supporting passengers with mobility needs. Business class travelers, he noted, will benefit from expedited boarding in line with their premium service expectations.

The revised policy is part of Air Peace’s broader commitment to service transformation. The airline is currently expanding both its fleet and route network, with plans to deepen its footprint in long-haul travel while upgrading customer experience across all touchpoints.

“Passengers can look forward to more innovations that make travel easier, more enjoyable, and more efficient,” Dr. Ndiulo added.

Air Peace operates an extensive network across domestic, regional, and international destinations, and continues to position Nigeria as a rising force in global aviation.
