Skyway Aviation Handling Company has secured the contract to provide ground handling services for Air Algeria, marking a new milestone in their operations on the Nigerian route.
This was disclosed by the company’s Head of Corporate Communications, Adetola Uansohia, in a statement released on Monday.
It was earlier reported that Air Algeria’s made its inaugural flight into Nigeria on Monday, which marks the start of direct flights from its base in Algiers.
SAHCO’s statement confirmed the full contract with the airline, detailing a broad range of services.
The handling company highlighted that this partnership underscores its commitment to providing top-tier aviation support.
Uansohia further mentioned that SAHCO will provide a range of services to Air Algeria, including ramp handling, passenger services, baggage handling, cargo handling, aircraft cleaning, and more.
“The company has been awarded a comprehensive ground handling contract to provide ground handling services to Air Algeria’s flights from Abuja to Algiers twice a week.
“Under this new agreement, SAHCO will provide an array of ground handling services for Air Algeria, including ramp handling, passenger services, baggage handling, cargo handling, aircraft cleaning, and more. SAHCO’s experienced team and state-of-the-art equipment are fully equipped to meet the unique needs of Air Algeria’s operations, ensuring seamless and efficient turnarounds at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport in Abuja.
