Alphabet Inc.’s Google is reportedly finalizing a deal to acquire AdHawk Microsystems Inc., a Canadian company specializing in eye-tracking technology, for approximately $115 million.
The proposed $115 million acquisition of AdHawk, including $15 million in performance-based payments, is in its final stages, according to sources familiar with the matter.
They requested anonymity as the deal has not been officially announced.
Although the deal is in its final stages, it could still fall through since the agreement has not been signed.
Google declined to comment, and AdHawk did not respond to inquiries.
The deal is expected to close this week if finalized.
