Nigerian Air Peace Airline has announced that flight disruption experienced by passengers across their network on Tuesday and Wednesday was a result of bad weather.

This was disclosed in a statement by Air Peace via its official X handle on Wednesday.

In the statement, passengers witnessed several flight delays and some others diverted.

The statement reads “Dear Esteemed Customers, due to the unfavourable weather in some of our routes last night and this morning, several flights across our network have been disrupted.

“Some flights were delayed and others were diverted.

“While weather is beyond our control and safety remains our utmost priority, we appeal for your understanding as we manage the disruptions as best as we can and get you to your destinations safely.

Meanwhile, some passengers took to social media to lament the recent flight disruption by Air Peace.

A passenger with X handle @Iamkevin_vince said “Funny how every other airline plying the same route is not experiencing the same weather conditions. They have no flight changes.”

Similarly, @kkebony07 wrote “I feel sad for regular flyers….this is not a one-off situation.
Even though you are better than other airlines.”

Air Peace Airline is an indigenous Nigerian air line with over 20 routes across the nation and recently launched its Lagos to London international route.
