The Federal Government has identified eighteen additional motor parks where Nigerians travelling from one state to another can take advantage of the 50% off transportation fare scheme.
These car parks may be found in Lagos, Abuja, Onitsha, Abia, Kano, Jos, Enugu, Uyo, Gombe, Jos, Port Harcourt, Sokoto, and Owerri, among other places.
This information is contained in a statement posted on the official X feed of President Bola Tinubu’s Office of Special Adviser on Social Media.
Remember that on Wednesday, December 20, 2023, AMBusiness reported that the Presidency announced a 50% reduction in interstate transportation charges and free commuter rides on all rail lines across the country from Dec. 21, 2023, to Jan. 4, 2024.
AMBusiness also reported that the Federal Government, through the Special Adviser on Information and Strategy to the President, Bayo Onanuga, named GIG (God is Good) Motors, Chisco Transport, Young Shall Grow, God Bless Ezenwata, and Area Motor as approved transport firms to carry out the project.
The Federal Government has designated the following additional motor parks to participate in the 50% interstate fare reduction initiative:

Television Garage (Eastern route), Kaduna
Gadabiu Luxury Park, Jos
Old Park, Enugu
Somachi Park, Owerri
Olu Obasanjo Ezenwata Park, Port Harcourt
Sokoto Central Park, Sokoto
Gombe Central Park, Gombe
Heavy Duty Park, Zakibiam
