TikTok has recently enhanced its desktop features, aiming to provide a superior user experience for those accessing the platform on larger devices. Although TikTok is primarily known for its mobile app, the company has addressed the shortcomings of its desktop version with this update.
According to TikTok, the latest update is designed to deliver a seamless and visually pleasing experience for users worldwide, regardless of the device they use. The improvements include a clearer video feed for enhanced visual quality, a more streamlined navigation bar for easier access to features, and support for both landscape and portrait views.
In addition to these enhancements, TikTok has expressed its commitment to further refining features such as Topic Feeds. This will allow users to explore a diverse range of videos across various subjects, including Gaming, Food, Fashion, and Sports.
It’s worth noting that TikTok faced scrutiny in numerous countries throughout 2023 due to allegations of data sharing with China, its country of origin. Bytedance, the parent company of TikTok, consistently denied these allegations.
