Apple is increasing production of the Vision Pro mixed-reality headset in order to prepare for a February release, Bloomberg News reported on Wednesday
The story states that production of the new headset is, and has been, running full tilt at facilities in China for a few weeks.
According to the reort, the objective is for customer-bound units to be prepared by the end of January, with the retail launch scheduled for the following month.
Launched in June, the $3,499 Vision Pro was anticipated to be accessible in the United States by early 2024.
The company encouraged software developers to “get ready” for the Vision Pro on Wednesday by bringing their applications to Apple for criticism and testing it with the newest tools.
The iPhone maker was compelled to significantly reduce production estimates for the headgear because of the device’s intricate design.
