The Nigerian National Petroleum Company Ltd. has earned this year’s The Whistler Newspaper Award for Transparency and Innovation.
The PUNCH reported that this was revealed in a statement by NNPCL’s Chief Corporate Communications Officer, Olufemi Soneye.
The Company’s Group Chief Executive Officer, Mr Mele Kyari, accepted the award on behalf of the Company from the Governor of Abia State, Alex Otti, during the Newspaper’s 2023 Award Night in Abuja recently.
In his acceptance speech, Kyari emphasized NNPCL’s commitment to generating value to its shareholders, emphasizing that the award would motivate the firm to re-dedicate itself to more transparency and innovation in its operations.
