The ongoing 3 Million Technical Talent programme of the Federal Government has announced the recruitment of Community Managers.
The Ministry of Communications, Innovation, and Digital Economy made this announcement in a statement that was made public on Monday.
The Ministry reports that 37 Learning Community Managers would be appointed nationwide to oversee the activities of the community members in Nigeria as a result of the recruitment drive.
In addition, the Community Managers will be responsible for defining the state’s strategy for community building and engagement, promoting advocacy, managing the production process, and providing community engagement materials; and establishing chances for interaction with pertinent partners in a way that maximises benefits for the 3MTT community.
According to the Ministry, a minimum of three to four years of relevant managerial experience and good leadership abilities are required for this position.
The Ministry’s supervising minister, Dr Bosun Tijani claims that the 3 Million Technical Talent programme is an essential component of President Bola Tinubu’s Renewed Hope agenda. Its goal is to strengthen Nigeria’s technical talent base to drive the country’s digital economy and establish Nigeria as a net talent exporter.
The program’s initial phase, which will be carried out in partnership with NITDA, will engage a number of stakeholders, including placement agencies, training providers, fellows, and partners.
