Google has disclosed that the newest iteration of the company’s exclusive phone is scheduled to make its New York City premiere on October 4th.

Following the launch of the Pixel 7a and Google’s first foldable, the Pixel Fold, at I/O, the future Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro flagship will most probably be unveiled at the event.

At the yearly Made by Google event in the autumn, a tonne of new hardware will be unveiled, including the brand’s most recent wearable, the Pixel Watch 2.

Since the release of the Pixel 6 in 2021, which included a more premium design, superior optics, and a first-party Tensor chip, Google’s phone line has been on the upswing.

Early leaks of the device and information stating that the Tensor G3 chip will have nine cores and is based on the Arm Immortalis architecture are already leaking.

The event will be livestreamed on YouTube and begins at 10 AM ET.
