Zenith Bank Plc’s Board of Directors has announced the appointment of Dr. Juliet Ehimuan as Non-Executive Director of the bank.
The Times reported that this was revealed in a corporate lawsuit filed with the Nigerian Exchange.
An excerpt from the official statement signed by Company Secretary Michael Osilama Otu stated:
“Zenith Bank Plc’s Board of Directors is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. Juliet Ehimuan as a Non-Executive Director of the Bank, effective August 29, 2023.”
Dr Juliet Ehimuan is the founder and CEO of Beyond Limits, as well as the former Director of Google West Africa. She was named by Forbes as one of the top 20 power women in Africa.
Furthermore, she was reorganized by the London Business School as one of 30 persons altering the world and one of the Most Influential persons of African Descent.
Juliet is a leading voice on Innovation, Transformation, and Leadership, with over 25 years of experience predominantly in the Technology, Oil & Gas, and New Media industries spanning Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.
Juliet played a critical role in expanding Google’s footprint in Nigeria and the wider West African region throughout her amazing 12-year period at Google.
She serves on boards in a variety of businesses, including finance, fast food, oil and gas, education, and social enterprises.
