Mrs. Nkem Oni-Egboma has been appointed as Chief Financial Officer by Emerging Markets Telecommunication Services Limited, otherwise known as 9mobile.
Thoroughbred specialist Oni-Egboma brings to 9mobile, extensive experience working in the financial services sector and knowledge in business planning, business development, international trade services, internal control and audit, treasury operations, and risk management.
The new CFO has more than 31 years of experience working in the private sector and has an accounting bachelor’s degree from Ahmadu Bello University and a master’s degree in banking and finance from the University of Lagos.
She belongs to a number of organizations for professionals, such as the Institute of Directors and the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (IOD).
Her appointment has got 9mobile buzzing with excitement. Juergen Peschel, the chief executive officer of 9mobile, commented on the appointment and expressed the company’s happiness with Oni-strategic Egboma’s choice. She had established herself as a well-rounded professional in the financial services sector, he said, and would prudently manage the business’ finances.
