2026: SMEs will blossom, hunger will reduce, says Pastor Adeboye

The General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye, has unveiled his prophetic outlook for the year 2026, that hunger across the country would reduce significantly, while small and medium-scale enterprises would begin to thrive and blossom.

Pastor Adeboye made the declaration during the church’s annual Crossover Service held at the expansive three-kilometre by three-kilometre auditorium of the Redeemed Christian Church of God in Simawa, Ogun State.

The prophecies for 2026, according to the cleric, were outlined under three broad areas covering individual believers, Nigeria, and the global community.

Speaking on the general outlook for the new year, Pastor Adeboye said 2026 would surpass 2025 in terms of impact, testimonies and opportunities. He further revealed that the spiritual “wind” which began blowing in 2024 would grow stronger in the coming year.

“2026 will be more remarkable than 2025,” he declared. “The wind that has been blowing since 2024 will continue to blow more strongly than before.”

The RCCG leader added that the year would bring increased opportunities, breakthroughs, successes and victories for many people, while failures would be fewer when compared to the outgoing year.

He also said that testimonies in 2026 would be so remarkable that many beneficiaries would begin their stories with the words, “God remembered me at last.”

Turning his attention to Nigeria, Pastor Adeboye prophesied that hunger across the country would reduce significantly, while small and medium-scale enterprises would begin to thrive and blossom.

He also predicted what he described as a “reversed Japa,” stating that many Nigerians who had relocated abroad in search of better opportunities would begin to return home.

“There will be a reduction in hunger, small and medium enterprises will blossom, and many people who left Nigeria will come back,” he said.

However, Pastor Adeboye disclosed that a second aspect of his prophecy concerning Nigeria was being withheld for the moment, explaining that he was yet to receive full divine clearance to make it public.

“I am not sure I am allowed to share the second part yet. I will pray more about it, and if God gives permission, I will share it on Friday,” he stated.

On global affairs, the cleric said the likelihood of a major world war breaking out in 2026 would be lower than it was in 2025.

He added that weather conditions across the world would largely follow a similar pattern to the previous year, although he warned that there could be a few significant hurricanes.

The prophecies have since stirred renewed optimism among worshippers, many of whom see 2026 as a year of restoration, renewed opportunities and divine remembrance.
