A report released on Tuesday by the Agency for the Presidency of the Prophet’s Mosque in Saudi Arabia, from June 25 to July 2, or Dhul Hijjah 7 to 14, shows that more than 4,252,000 people visited and worshipped there.
The president’s planning and facilitation allowed 75,529 worshippers to visit the Rawdah Sharif, according to the Saudi Press Agency, while more than 271,173 people came to greet the prophet.
According to the mosque’s presidency, “The spaces designated for the elderly have helped more than 6,782 people, and 14,766 people have attended the religious lectures held at the Prophet’s Mosque.
More than 4,703 persons benefited from field awareness workshops, while 11,534 people received religious counselling services. The presidency also stated that 46,138 gifts were presented to pilgrims and worshippers.
“The presidency provided 426,457 meals and 203,294 bottles of Zamzam water to individuals who were fasting.”
The study also stated that 17,650 persons attended exhibitions while 4,279 visitors and worshippers used the unified number and contact channels.
3,001 people used language communication services, 10,158 people visited libraries, 115,090 people traveled using different modes of transportation, while 8,296 people took advantage of the guiding service.
The weekly report from the presidency also stated that it has stepped up efforts in coordination with the security service, health, emergency, and volunteer organizations to provide the pilgrims, tourists, and worshippers of the Prophet’s Mosque with the greatest services .
