The Enugu State Governor, Peter Mba on Thursday appointed 20 commissioners to help him implement his agenda for the state.
The CEO of the logistics start-up Kobo360 in Nigeria, Obi Ozor, is one of the recently appointed commissioners. In Mba’s government, Ozor will hold the position of commissioner of transportation.
“It’s our hope that you are going to bring those experiences to bear and to work for the people of Enugu State,” the governor said in his speech.
Ozor has been the CEO of Kobo360 for 5 years, prior to that, he served as Director of Operations for Uber Nigeria and JP Morgan. Kobo360 was founded in 2017 by Obi Ozor and Ife Oyedele.
With Kobo360, owners of cargo can use the company’s digital logistics platform to request goods vehicles, have their products picked up and delivered to the desired place, and track the status of those requests.
Ozor’s appointment comes a week after President Tinubu appointed Bosun Tijani as a minister.
